Don’t wait to be perfect to get baptized!
Water baptism is the next step for anyone who has made a decision to follow Jesus or hasn’t been baptized by full immersion during their Christian walk. Through baptism, we are submerged under water to identify with the death and burial of Jesus, and raised out of the water to identify with Jesus’ resurrection. Baptism is a public declaration to the world of an inner change that we have died to self and been raised together with Christ, becoming a new creation. We have surrendered our life in faith and obedience to God, and the blood of Christ has cleansed us from sin. Water baptism follows repentance and includes the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
